Uterqüe is a company owned by the Spanish Inditex group dedicated to manufacturing fashion accessories and garments such as scarves and sunglasses. It was formed in 2008. The offices are located in Tordera (Barcelona) in Catalonia, different from the other brands of the group which operate from Arteixo (A Coruña) in Galicia, with the exception of Massimo Dutti which also has its headquarters in Tordera and Bershka, Lefties and Oysho Stradivarius which has kept its headquarters in Barcelona where it had been founded before being bought by Inditex in 1999.

On September 2020 a customer wrote for customer affairs a review about the terrible service of Inditex group: Nasty representatives. Really terrible experience in all aspects. Bought a few items. They delivered to an incorrect address and would not refund. Terrible nasty attitude on phone. Wouldn't call me back for days. Stay far away.

"Hi all, unfortunately I have the same bad experience with uterque ... After several emails I didn’t manage to receive any concrete feedback in relation to my online order return. I tried to call the customer service but no one picks up the phone. I really don’t know what to do, I am desperate. Did you finally manage to return your online orders and receive a refund? "Do not shop with them online. 50% more expensive than in Spain, long shipping times, then they cancel your order for no reason."

"I am trying to contact Uterqüe to return some shoes but when I try the customer service number it is out of use and on the Uterqüe website the returns page is blank. I am therefore left with unusable goods and no way of using my right to return. Is anyone else having problems?"

"I have ordered during Black Friday. Since 2,5 weeks my order is still in “being processed” status. After 5 emails and messages in Instagram their contact center just ignoring me. I don’t know what happens with my order. They didn’t sent it and didn’t refund. Worst customer service ever!!! In 2020, the way Uterque acts with their customers is a shame!"

"They sent the wrong size and it is impossible to return the item. There is no phone number only form to send an email , but they do not respond. The worse experience ever"

"I have a very bad experience with the quality of product and a very bad customer service. I bought a pair od leather pants for 280 euro and after just 1 day of wearing pants got 2 sizes bigger!!!! Unbelievable that quality is so pour for this price. Unfortunately unable to claim, customer service don't come with any solution. They just leave you with the problem. I am shocked how they approach you as it is also INDITEX (big sister of ZARA) so you would expect better service. At the end its definitely my last purchase there!!!! And other INDITEX companies. Don't buy at UTERQUE!!!!"

"Horrible customer service! Impossible to return few things from my purchase. Even after 5 return requests for my Order no.: 146809315, 5 emails, and 4 messages through messenger no one cared to do anything about it. You will be stuck with whatever you order and it doesn't fit you. Never had such a terrible experience. They lost another customer."

"THE WORST ONLINE SHOPPING EXPERIENCE Still waiting for one item requested and approved to be returned on 21 April and the other on 4 May to be picked up by the UPS, as announced by the customer service. Not only that, but since 4 of May the customer service did not respond to a single out of six emails sent, nor did anyone react to a message sent via Facebook. I even requested an address so to send the items on my own cost. And nothing! So if you intend to use their online shop, please think twice!"

"I bought a pair of shoes and wore them lightly 2 times when the heel cap fell off and was completley ruined. I have contacted them through email twice and by their contact form on the website with no answer. I am so frustrated, i want a refund or new shoes but i feel like they just want to sell products and never deal with customer service."

"Great products but customer service is beyond bad. No communication on delayed order and when I called customer service the person I spoke to was incredibly rude and unhelpful. What a horrible experience!"

"Incompetent staff in customer service, unable to properly book a collection to return the parcel, unable to enter a correct address for delivery and return, I wasted so much time talking to delivery companies and writing emails to them. And prices are 30% higher, than in Spain. Avoid!"
